The Emotion and Culture Lab led by Dr. Xia Fang (personal website: https://emotionculturelab.com) at the Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, Zhejiang University, invites applications for one Postdoctoral Fellow.
Dr. Fang specializes in emotion science and cross-cultural psychology. Current research explores how individuals express and perceive emotions through multiple channels—including facial expressions, vocalizations, body movements, and artistic forms such as music, film, and painting—and how culture (particularly East Asian vs. North American/Western European cultures) shapes these processes.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Completion of, or near completion of, a Ph.D. in Psychology or a related discipline; background in emotion science and cross-cultural psychology is preferred.
- Strong ability to work independently; solid scientific literacy; professionalism, sense of responsibility, and strong teamwork spirit.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques and programming relevant to psychological research; strong academic writing skills in English and effective English communication abilities.
